The Lethbridge Gallery is now calling all 2D artists to enter the Clayton Utz Art Award 2018 before the entries close on Friday 17 August. Supported by Australian law firm Clayton Utz, the Award offers the winner $20,000 in prize money, exhibition space for the finalists and is awarded to an outstanding artwork by a Queensland-based artist, or an artist with a strong connection to the state.

Established by Brett Lethbridge in 2004, Lethbridge Gallery has a strong reputation for showing a diverse range of technically accomplished, high-quality artworks. New exhibitions are shown in the gallery approximately every two weeks and consist of both established and emerging artists. Alongside holding different unique exhibitions, the Gallery is enthusiastic in encouraging local artists to show the greatness of their potential and talents as well as to demonstrate their skills and creativity in art.

Finalists of the Clayton Utz Art Award will be announced on Monday 3 September with winners being announced on Wednesday 10 October.
