Aussie World Chief Operating Officer Aaron Flanagan said the 23 December Christmas Spectacular is one of the theme parks most popular events of the year.
“Attendance at this event keeps growing every year and we are quite confident that there is no other celebration on the Sunshine Coast where guests can meet Santa and Mrs Claus, come face to face with Christmas characters, enjoy roving carolers, watch the fireworks, meet the Aussie Kids and watch our spectacular Christmas show,” said Mr Flanagan.
“There’s also snow, pyrotechnics, laser-shows, a musical fireworks display, Christmas lights, two showings of A Christmas Musical, Mrs Claus , The Night before Christmas, and live entertainment, plus full access to all of the rides and attractions, there’s so much to do, I suspect that our guests may struggle to do it all in one night.”
Mr Flanagan said Aussie World has held a number of night time events this year and guests are really embracing the idea of spending the evening being entertained at the theme park.
“Events like Ride the Night and Halloween have been warmly embraced by local families,” he added.
“There is no doubt that the theme park takes on a whole new atmosphere at night! People really love the fact that they can knock off work and enjoy a relaxing and safe night of fun at Aussie World”
Gates open for the Christmas Spectacular event at 5.30pm and the fun starts at 6.00pm, concluding at 9.30pm.
Tickets start at $26.00 for concession holders.
