Spanish Baroque: Brandenburg and Circa
On Tuesday, May 16, the Spanish Baroque: Brandenburg and Circa will be performing in Brisbane at the Concert Hall QPAC.
The show is a muscular masterpiece where the strength and vigour of the music matches the sensational acrobatic and circus choreography that plays out on stage. The musical focus of the show is an energetic pasticcio by Paul Dyer inspired by the ARIA Award-winning CD Tapas which features percussion, guitar and theorbo, and lashings of violin bravado, with music by Albéniz, Merula, Murcia, Martinez and more.
In 2015, the collaborative pair won the Helpmann Award for their sold out shows in Melbourne and Sydney.
The performance will commence at 7:30pm. Tickets are on sale now.
