Bold has opened its doors to a large, comprehensive builder design showroom in Queensland: the million dollar Evolve Design Studio.

Measuring a spacious 500 square metres in North Lakes, the studio will feature a full-scale kitchen, bathroom, media and bedroom displays along with a variety of finishes, fittings and colours. Customers will also be able to engage in a touch, feel, and see experience.

Bold owner and director, Brett Boulton, said the concept for the studio arose from a desire to make building a new home as stress free as possible for buyers.

“A key point of difference is that anyone can come in at anytime,” he said.¬†

“You don’t have to book or sign up to purchase first, you can drop in for a look seven days a week and there’s even a kids’ corner to keep the little ones occupied while you browse.”

Bold was established in 2010 by Mr Boulton and has expanded across south-east Queensland, including Brisbane, Ipswich, the Sunshine Coast, and Gold Coast.

Mr Boulton said, many customers visit a display home to make a decision on the overall floor plan and design, but when it comes to deciding on details they found it difficult to visualise how the design would look in the setting of the home.

He said, many showrooms were only open to those who had already committed to building with a company, but Evolve Design Studio was open to the general public.

“They often end up going back and forth between the display home and the showroom to refresh their memory, so by putting everything under one roof we will make that process easier,” Mr Boulton said.

Bold was recently named the Queensland Medium Professional Builder by the Housing Industry Association (HIA) for the second consecutive year.

The new Evolve Design Studio is open at 49 Flinders Parade in North Lakes.
