Established in March 2017, Farm House in Kedron is a cafe that pays tribute to family farms and fresh food producers.

The aim at Farm House is to take food from the farm to the customer’s plate with the least amount of fuss in between. Although young, Farm House has already ditched the training wheels. It is open seven days a week, boasting an early breakfast menu, all-day breakfast menu, little farmers menu, lunch menu, all day lunch menu and a drinks menu with a wide array of drinks to choose from.

The cafe is built in a quaint old farmhouse with a rustic and wooden interior that is perfect for that lazy brunch Sunday or sunny morning breakfast. The Farm House exterior is decorated with fresh herb gardens and potted plants that make you want to live there. The cosy cafe is one with a heart of gold as it is built on the grounds of a much loved family owned produce store once named Farmer Joes.

Farm House has a menu that leaves brunchers salivating. Expect to indulge in corned beef and pickled rye bread toasties, farmhouse burgers with big chips, soft smokey spiced BBQ pork tacos, breakfast gnocchi, crispy cheese and potato cake, farmhouse chicken salad with Thai herbs and radish paleo and an abundant ploughman’s platter for two. Veggie lovers can rejoice with spiced cauliflower and pumpkin, farmhouse salads and the Plough-gal’s garden platter for two. On the breakfast menu, expect to find delectables like seed granola with yoghurt and passionfruit pannacotta, free-range north coast eggs with bacon and sourdough toast, slow cooked Spanish beans, buttermilk pancakes with popcorn butter, breakfast bruschetta on charcoal ciabatta and new farmhouse summer bowl.
