Finn McCool’s Irish Bar has opened its second venue on Cavill Avenue in Surfers Paradise. Following a $2 million makeover, the new venue boasts an ample bar, booth seating, large tables for groups and an expansive screen for broadcasting sports, all with the comforts and authenticity of the Irish spirit.

Open seven days a week, serving up delicious eats, high-quality beverages and livemusic, according to Hallmark Group Marketing Manager, Tammy Wood, the Gold Coast has officially found its new local with a friendly Irish flavour. “We’re thrilled to be open and finally bringing the luck of the Irish to the Gold Coast community. Much like our award-winning Brisbane venue, we’ve created another authentic Irish bar with great beer, a mouth-watering menu, sporting action and live music, all combined with the heart of the Irish,” Tammy said.

Catering for both lunch and dinner crowds, the menu features Irish classics such as Beef and Guinness pie, Irish Stew, Chicken Curry and traditional Irish breakfast of bacon, eggs, mushroom, pork sausage, black pudding, beans and Barry’s tea. Plus all your pub favourites, like chicken parmy, pizza and loads of chicken wings. On tap, Guinness and Kilkenny will be poured, alongside a range of beers, ciders, wines, spirits, and cocktails.

Sunday sessions will be an all-day affair, with a hearty Sunday roast on offer and live music from some of Queensland’s best acoustic, duos and bands, including International Irish touring acts throughout the week.

To celebrate the opening, Finn McCool’s Finn McCool’s Irish Bar is giving away a trip to Ireland for two very lucky people!
