More than 6000 racegoers attended Aquis Park Gold Coast Turf Club to celebrate the race that stopped the nation on Tuesday 6 November. The Melbourne Cup was the closing event of the 2018 Spring Racing Carnival, offering guests a day filled with live on-track racing and a broadcast of the Melbourne Cup on the big screen. A range of free off-track activities were also enjoyed by guests, including a ladies Pony Bar, a men’s grooming parlous with Luigi & Sons and the much-anticipated Fashions on the Field.
