Carolyn Waller from Dress Me GC has organised a High Tea Fundraiser event for Sharon Mitchell’s How to be Rich, Thin and Happy book launch. The book’s author, Sharon Mitchell, has chosen to donate all profits from book sales at the event to OzHarvest on the Gold Coast as she is also a volunteer of the organisation. Founded in 2004 by Ronni Kahn, OzHarvest is a perishable food rescue organisation that collects quality excess food from more than 2000 commercial outlets including supermarkets, hotels, wholesalers, farmers, stadiums and corporate events. The food is then delivered to more than 800 charities, free of charge. Entry to the event is $50 and will include specialty coffees and teas, and free parking at Soul. There will also be lucky door prizes and raffle tickets that will also go towards supporting OzHarvest.
The event will be held at Peppers Soul Surfers Paradise, 4-14 The Esplanade, Surfers Paradise. For more information, please click here.
