For the eighth year, leading Australian tile manufacturer and retailer, Beaumont Tiles, will be supplying tiles for the House for Life charity home project – an initiative of Plantation Homes and Villawood Properties in support of the Mater Foundation.

The House for Life will see a double-storey 51 square custom-built home by Plantation Homes, situated in the premium estate of The Surrounds in Helensvale, and will go under the hammer at a no reserve auction. Funds raised from the 8 September auction will go toward supporting seriously ill and premature babies cared for at Mater Mothers’ Hospitals in Queensland. This includes world-class research and education to baby health and care.

This House for Life is the 8th house that Plantation Homes that has been built and auctioned, and is the inaugural year that the house has been built on land donated by Villawood Properties. Michael Omera, Account Manager, Beaumont Tiles says, “It’s so rewarding to see business relationships create meaningful outcomes outside of ‘just business’.  Working together we are making a difference and that’s what makes it worthwhile. For the 2019 House for Life project, Agrestic grey gloss tiles for the bathroom walls and Quartzi white tiles for the floors were chosen to celebrate the beauty of Hamptons styling, which is synonymous with Australia’s love of family, entertaining and inside out living – all celebrated in this gorgeous project,” Mr Omera said.

Amanda Reilly, Plantation Homes Marketing Manager, said “It is always fantastic to witness the overwhelming generosity and tireless commitment of our suppliers and tradespeople who continue to donate their time and resources in making this extraordinary build possible.”
