A new secret location in the sprawling rainforest of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast Hinterland will come alive in a month’s time with the sights and sounds of artistic wonder for Jungle Love Festival 2018.

The Festival has announced its final lineup which sees more than 100 artists and musicians across a variety of disciplines and genres join headliners psych-rockers Pond and innovative Kiwi glitch-hop producer OPIUO for the festival’s fifth tropical instalment. Fully immersive, Jungle Love Festival is all about the festival experience. Activities include waking up to sunrise yoga, floating down the Yabba Creek enjoying a midday beer, and discovering new bands. The event is a three-day festival.

Festival Co-Director Raymond Williams says audiences are in for an absolute treat with his program highlight Jungle Love Allstars: Live Tribute to Justice. Inspired by the legendary French electronic duo, the tribute performance will feature a 12-piece band of some of Brisbane’s finest musicians, hand-picked from groups such as Big Dead, LeSuits, beneb, Inigo, HRBRT, Andy Ward as well as the string quartet from Nonsemble.

In addition to the festival’s music and arts program, Jungle Lovers can take part in workshops, holistic pastimes, watch cross-discipline performance pieces, live visual art activations, and they can take part in an Official Dungeons and Dragons Immersive Theatre, dating show Jungle Love ME, Laughing Yoga, Water Aerobics and much more.

Centered around this year’s theme of Trash to Treasure, Jungle Love is inviting patrons to reuse and borrow everything they intend to bring to the new festival site to reduce landfill contributions. Festival organisers are challenging all Jungle Lovers to not buy anything new when preparing and packing for the 2018 festival; whether it be an eye-catching outfit or a tent fit for the whole crew, all can be borrowed or bought second hand.
