The sell-out Land Rover Polo in the City kicked off the Brisbane summer season in style on Saturday, 19 November. Some of the most celebrated polo players in the country, including Damian Johnston, Drew Slack-Smith, Dirk Gould, Lucas Rogers and Brendan Menegazzo, joined up-and-comers in two high-adrenaline games before a crowd of 3000 spectators. From the comfort of the exclusive Pol Roger VIP Marquee or invitation-only Corporate marquees, polo enthusiasts enjoyed the finest hospitality and entertainment while partaking in polo traditions such as the Crush Fine Wines Divot Stomp, Pol Roger Men’s and Nova Ladies’ Dash, as well as Fashions on the Field. For over 10 spectacular years, the Polo in the City (an Urban Polo series) has established itself as the largest national polo series in the world, generating international exposure for all Australian host cities. The day of action, fashion and equine splendor commenced on and off the field at 11am and finished at 6pm, with the after party rocking on at Darling & Co in Paddington.
