Museum of Brisbane launched Mao’s Last Dancer the exhibition: A portrait of Li Cunxin on Thursday 30 November. More than 300 of the Brisbane’s corporate, arts, and socialites were at the party featuring the man of the hour himself, Li Cunxin. Guests enjoyed drinks and canapés while listening to a string quartet before viewing an exclusive preview of the exhibition. Now open until 29 April 2018, the world first exhibition, which is also the first ticketed exhibition for Museum of Brisbane, brings audiences a personal insight into Li’s life and ongoing impact beyond the best-selling book and movie.
