St Margaret’s Anglican Girls School launched its sixth biennial MAYO Arts Festival with an elegant soiree on Friday 25 May. The cocktail gathering was held amongst an art exhibition showcasing three-dimensional pieces from more than 40 emerging and established artists, designers and sculptors. Furniture brand and event partner Cult Design also showcased designer pieces from its collection. Guest speakers included Graham and Judith Bell while other guests include Councillor David McLachlan, Local Member for Clayfield Tim Nicholls, St Margaret’s Foundation Chair Kylie Lamprecht and St Margaret’s Principal Ros Curtis, as well as many of the exhibiting artists.
