Located beneath the new Milton Residences and right next door to Milton Station, La Stazione is serving up traditional Italian Pizza and Pasta dishes with a focus on sharing.
“Our pizza will be the same as the award-winning Pizza’s we offer at our Gold Coast Restaurant Cicchetti,” restaurant co-owner Luca Giacomin said. “In 2016 Cicchetti Gold Coast won Best Pizza Restaurant in QLD at The Savour Australia Hostplus Awards for Excellence – QLD Restaurant & Catering Awards, and we can’t wait to see if Brisbane diners agree with this win,”
With such a diverse menu, it’s going to be difficult for diners to choose a favourite dish, but a few of the initial standouts include a mouthwatering porchetta featuring crispy skin pork belly, and the gnocconi della Casa boasting veal ragu and goat’s cheese.
La Stazione is a collaboration between experienced restauranteurs Marco De Vincentiis, Luca Giacomin and Sam Mustafa. This is the group’s first foray into the Brisbane market
The kitchen is headed by Italian born Executive Chef Fabio Ricciardi who grew up working in his family restaurant in Modena, Italy and is most recently from Bianco Restaurant, Brighton Le Sands in Sydney.
La Stazione will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. Seating up to 70 people, the restaurant will also be available for functions and special events.
