Mucho Mexicano has officially arrived in Hawthorne, bringing its familiar menu of favourites along with some new contenders thrown into the mix. The south side neighbourhood is the newest location for Mucho Mexicano, sitting right next to Hawthorne Deluxe Cinema. Now open, the venue is serving lunch and dinner.

Bookings for private functions will be on offer, hosting sit down groups of up to 50 people and standing groups of up to 100 guests. From small bites to big delights, explore the extensive menu and start off with a regular favourite, chips and guacamole, or the lightly fried calamari with chilli salt, citrus and aioli. Move onto the Taco range, choosing from flavoursome fillings like chorizo, crispy pork belly or battered snapper. If you have a bigger group, try tackling the Mother of all Tacos which can feed up to three people.

Just like its sister venue at Southbank, the new location will feature a lunchtime Burrito menu for when hunger strikes. Choose between chicken, wagyu beef or vegetarian pumpkin with all the trimmings, wrap it in a warm tortilla or have it naked in a bowl. You can also pair it with a tap beer or cider available daily from 11am to 3pm.

Olé Group General Manager Curt Casey says “Mexican cuisine is all about people coming together, interacting and having a good time while enjoying fresh food. That’s what our new location is all about, a fun experience where you can get your hands dirty and walk away with your stomachs and hearts full.”

Mucho Mexicano Hawthorne will also serve frozen Margaritas with flavours citrus or strawberry on offer. Looking for something a little more decadent? Look no further than their more sizeable margarita menu featuring creations such as the strawberry, apple and guava margarita or the mango and blood orange margarita.
