I love Hobart — the seaside community
aspect and the heritage feel of the city. The local produce and restaurant scene is amazing too.
Which do you prefer – country or city living, and why?
Despite living in inner city Brisbane I do have a soft spot for the country. Access to the open space, fresh air, and getting away from busy inner city life to recharge and clear the mind is most appealing about the country lifestyle.
Favourite room in your home, and why?
Our rear verandah. We live in a Federation style Queenslander and our rear verandah takes in the best of outdoor living and functions so well with the living and dining spaces in our home.
If you could have dinner with anyone, who would it be, and what would you serve?
I would have to have dinner with Roger Federer and Sir Chay Blyth. Both are inspirational to me because of their achievements both physically and mentally. I could not go past having a barbecue with them both on our rear verandah with a good mix of salads and fresh seafood.
A weekend in winter is best spent …
with a morning walk with the kids and our dog followed by a picnic by the Brisbane River.
