The Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS) is hosting its milestone 30th anniversary showcase at The Marine Village Sanctuary Cove from Friday 24 to Sunday 27 May.

Known as one of the southern hemisphere’s most highly anticipated marine events, SCIBS will proceed again to present and celebrate the industry’s latest and leading brands, with various boats and marine products on display across four days.

The 30th edition will hold more than 300 exhibitors, providing a different array of events for visitors within the location, including popular precincts such as The Main Pavilion, the Superyacht and Marine Pavilion, The Boatyard, The Docks, and Supercar Street.

Each precinct will showcase a range of brands, product launches, live demonstrations, and interactive workshops.

A new precinct will also be introduced at the 2018 show, known as the Sports, Leisure and Fishing Boats.

It will feature a display of locally-made and imported recreational vessels, such as rigid inflatable boats (RIBS), luxury day boats, aluminium and fiberglass fishing boats, and well-performing ski and tow boats. Visitors will be allowed to trial any item that they have interest in at the precinct.

The Marina will be hosting an on-water display of highly-regarded items created by renowned boat builders such as Maritimo and Riviera. The display will feature superyachts, motor yachts, catamarans, and sailing boats visitors are allowed to experience first-hand.

SCIBS will be arranging many family-friendly events across the four days, including a Kids’ Zone, colourful performances by street entertainers, live music, and food offerings.

It will also feature the SCIBS Fishing Tournament, a fun fishing competition many can take part and see.

For those who want to discuss business and relax, the show will once again include the SCIBS’ International Business Lounge and Top Deck VIP Lounge. In addition to this, SCIBS will launch a trade breakfast, giving industry professionals the chance to network and conduct business at the show.

Supported by Toursim & Events Queensland and a member of the International Federation of Boat Show Organisers (IFBSO), SCIBS will follow the 8th edition of the Australian Superyacht and Marine Export Conference (ASMEX) held at InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort from May 21 to 23.

SCIBS also offers free park ‘n’ ride services from Warner Bros. Movie World,  along with limited on-site parking, available pre-paid.
