The Sebel Brisbane Margate Beach held a glamorous soiree on Tuesday 29 May to celebrate the official opening of the hotel. Valued clients, dignitaries and business partners enjoyed a night of champagne and gourmet canapes to commemorate this latest addition to the AccorHotels stable of properties. The ceremonious cutting of the ribbon was conducted by Moreton Bay Regional Council Mayor Allan Sutherland and guests were entertained by modern-day poet Rupert McCall with his tribute to the Redcliffe Peninsula entitled The Boy on the Bridge Returns.
