Gold Coast beauty lovers now have two Sephora locations to pick up their favourite makeup, haircare and skincare, with the Robina Town Centre store opening its doors on May 3. The opening was celebrated with giveaways, beauty samples and flash makeovers.
The first 500 customers were offered Anastasia Beverly Hills Aurora Glow Kit highlight palettes, valued at $72. This giveaway attracted many beauty lovers, the line stretching around the shopping centre to the outdoor area. Beauty and Lifestyle Guru Cartia Mallan also came to greet excited fans at the opening event.
The international cosmetics retailer has found its third home in Queensland at its new Robina location, with 14 stores nationally. With a range of international brands, including its own Sephora line, the new store is an exciting addition for the shopping centre. Sephora stocks several brands including Fenty Beauty by Rihanna, as well as big brands like Sigma, Tarte, Giorgio Armani, Huda Beauty, Oaui and Kat Von D,
The store is located on Robina Town Centre’s ground floor and will have strong competition, with its beauty adversary, Mecca Cosmetica, already established in the centre. The new addition to Robina signals the centre’s ongoing commitment to expanding its retail offers, according to General Manager Shaine Beveridge. “We’re thrilled to open the doors to Sephora’s newest store and provide our local customers with access to this celebrated international cosmetics brand,” he said.
Robina has had strong competition after the recently renovated Pacific Fair Shopping Centre reopened its doors, creating a new luxury location for the already competitive Gold Coast market. Pacific Fair also offers Mecca Cosmetica and Sephora, as well as individual beauty brands like NYX Cosmetics.
“We’re dedicated to continuing to diversify and strengthen our position in the market as a leading shopping, dining and entertainment destination, and the launch of Sephora is a testament to the calibre of brands we continue to attract,” Mr Beveridge said. More retailer openings for Robina Town Centre are set to be announced over the coming months.
