An absolute beachfront private estate on Webb Road, Sunshine Beach has sold for a record price.

The property, sold by Nic Hunter from Tom Offermann Real Estate was listed for $22 million, though Mr Offermann will not reveal the final price to protect the confidentiality of his clients.

“Naturally everyone is curious. After all property sales such as this, are not every day transactions,” Mr Offermann said.

The grand seven bedroom residence has an exterior reminiscent of a lavish resort.

From the sweeping driveway at the end of the cul-de-sac, beyond the tennis court to the porte-cochere with the oversized white front doors, this is a palatial residence of grand proportions. An edgy take on classic modern architecture with splashes of Noosa panache, all sublimely in tune with the sub-tropics, the sea and the coastal sand dune ecosystem.

Situated on Webb Road, this property is located adjacent to the Sunshine Beach making the ocean an extension of the yard.

The residence has been completely reimagined with a renovation by award-winning international designer David Hicks, who is experienced in developing bold, high-gloss, high-end interior designs.

Hicks style is embedded in this house, endowed with bright white walls and joinery, and a dark floor that grounds all spaces.

The design is reminiscent of lavish resorts around the world, including a nostalgic nod to the Italian Riviera with terrazzo and ribbed lacquered timber. Subtle textures, layered throughout are indicative of the bushland surrounds yet twisted and melded with high quality finishes.

Meticulous planning at the construction phase means every room within the house has a lovely view of the sea. Views of the surrounding landscape are also serviced by the vast terraces and gazebos.

A stunning beach seating area is housed behind an expanse of glass, behind the pool, again inviting the sand and sea inside.

Flowing seamlessly from the outdoor areas are the expansive living and dining spaces, accompanied by domestic and commercial kitchens.

Atop the staricase, beyond the exquisite chandelier are six substantial, ensuited bathrooms including a grand master suite.

The bathrooms are nicely designed with timber, woven wallpaper, heavily grained marble, and blue glass walls.

In addition to the spacious feel of the indoor and outdoor living space, large terraces, alfresco dining areas, vast gardens, a full size tennis court with cabana, and a guest cottage are featured within the property lines.
