Eagle Farm Racecourse is hosting a long table Italian dinner by glittering candlelight, That’s Amore!, on Saturday 1 December.

Guests will sip on prosecco and feast on a menu straight from the Amalfi coast. This elegant and glamourous Napoli-inspired evening at Eagle Farm’s Tote Room will have diner’s feeling like they have stepped in to an Italian Trattoria.

Brisbane Racing Club’s well renowned culinary team will be working tirelessly to prepare an exquisite three course sit down menu starting with warm artisan breads, grana cheese, mixed olives, and balsamico di Modena, before moving on to an entrée featuring Naples-style buffalo mozzarella, San Daniele baby heirloom tomatoes, rocket, torn basil and extra virgin olive oil.

The evening’s main event is roast duckling breast, wild mushroom and truffle risotto with twice cooked veal and sage filled tortelloni and marsala ristretto and broccoli. A truly Italian finale of sweet ricotta and candied fruit cannoli with pistachio, limoncello zabaglione and Amalfi roasted peach cheek will be whisked to the table for dessert.

The evening includes a four-hour beverage package with carefully curated free-flowing Italian specially sourced red and white wine, prosecco, beer, and soft drinks. It is the perfect setting to embrace the finest Italian food and drinks with friends or family, while being entertained by a live accordion player, Italian duo La Mafia Band and other surprise performers who will have guests dancing into the night.
