Qualified personal trainer and nutrition coach Richard Kerrigan has announced the launch of his new online 12 week transformation fitness plan The Beach Life. Richard created his own fitness plan after he discovered his love of food from helping his mum cook as a kid, and from watching Jamie Oliver. He left school at 16 to study catering and hospitality at Thanet College, and was later selected to work in Buckingham Palace as a butler.

While working as a chef he discovered a passion for fitness, and has now been in the fitness industry for eight years. His inspiration for The Beach Life came from his father, living in Manly and his experiences in the fitness industry. The plan incorporates 30 minute high intensity interval training (HIIT) workouts, whole body strengthening workouts, and low intensity recovery sessions.

‘’I know everyone is busy, which is why all of the workouts are 30 minutes long and they can be done anytime anywhere”’ says Richard. The nutrition plan provides users with a healthy cook book filled with a series of dishes that are both flavoursome and healthy.

“As a qualified chef, I enjoy eating tasty dishes, however, this doesn’t mean I cook with loads of fatty unhealthy foods that commonly leaves you feeling sluggish, tired and inevitably result in weight gain,” he said. “I’m a strong believer that flavour can come from simple, fresh ingredients that benefit your overall health and fuel your body. The meals I have created for this plan help boost energy levels, promote fat loss and assist with muscle recovery.”
