Adding more flavour to West End’s vibrant dining scene, West Village has revealed its new food and lifestyle precinct The Garden Pantry will open in late October.

The Garden Pantry is a contemporary food retail precinct that will feature three of Brisbane’s best dining experiences. West Village Project Director Andrew Thompson said the precinct will draw on its surroundings. “Drawing on the food origins of the historic Peters Ice Cream Factory, West Village will establish itself as a food and lifestyle destination, which aims to celebrate the culture and diversity that is West End,” said Andrew.

The best things come in threes, which is why this dining destination will headline three Brisbane restaurants for a casual atmosphere focused on paddock-to-plate dining –  Cheeky Poke Bar, Mr Bunz, and Salt Meats Cheese. The latter will warm up mornings with freshly roasted coffee and Italian inspired breakfast bites, before switching gears to pizza and street food later in the day. By night, expect Salt Meats Cheese’s signature cheese wheel pasta, all-you-can-eat pizza and Sunday porchetta roasts. For wholesome food of a different kind, West-Enders can pop into Cheeky Poke Bar for a peek into the Pacific and a taste of Hawaiian-inspired dishes such as poke bowls and seafood tacos. Rounding out the trio is groovy Asian restaurant Mr Bunz, perfectly infusing the fun and flavour of the East with four signature bao buns and South East Asian inspired meals for lunch and dinner. “With delicious bites at The Garden Pantry, West Village will be a space for the community to dine, relax and enjoy the best of Brisbane,” said Andrew.
