James Willis, founder of The Mason Baker, has joined forces with Maggie Beer to create Christmas pudding in a jar.

Twenty-five year-old Willis is the mind behind the Christmas delicacy that can be sent through the post anywhere in Australia. The signature Christmas Pudding in a jar will be teamed with a delicious Brandy Butter Sauce from Beer.

Offering an alternative to the traditional gift of flowers, The Mason Baker produces gourmet jar-cakes, delivered straight to your door and ready to be spooned. These gifts can be posted to anyone across the country.

The addition of a Christmas dessert is proving to be a ‘pinch me’ moment for the young Brisbane entrepreneur.

“Maggie Beer is a national treasure, who managed to grow her humble farm shop in the Barossa Valley into one of Australia’s most iconic brands,” said James.

“The delicious addition of her Brandy Butter Sauce perfectly complements our new Christmas Pudding.”

Beer is equally as excited about this delicious collaboration.

“I love the flavours that come but once a year in celebration of Christmas and my Brandy Butter is just that – rich with toffee flavours, a hint of sea salt and a dash of brandy.

Willis launched The Mason Baker in 2016 after growing tired of the traditional avenues of sending gifts. The company’s motto is: ‘Send cake, because nobody likes eating flowers’.

As well as the new signature Christmas Pudding jar-cake, customers can order a selection of flavours including Nutella, Salted Caramel, Sticky Date Pudding and Lemon Blueberry along with their popular classics including Cookies & Cream and Raspberry White Chocolate.
