The Twilight Markets Caloundra will be returning to Bulcock Beach Esplanade on Friday nights this summer, bringing a packed line up of food, music, artisan stalls and entertainment.

Located at the foreshore of the scenic Pumicestone Passage, with the Glass House Mountains etched in a beautiful red glow across the skyline – sunsets at the Twilight Markets Caloundra are not to be missed. The Twilight Markets summer season will return to the picturesque Bulcock Beach Esplanade every Friday night until 25 January.

Organised by the Caloundra Chamber of Commerce, the Twilight Markets include unique food and artisan stalls, roving entertainment and musicians such as the one-man band and local favourite Juzzie Smith. Local entertainers Her Majestys will be kicking things off with their explosively captivating fire display and belly dancing performance backed by the drummers of The Off Beat group.

The Twilight Markets is also known for its tastes. With a diverse range of food stalls available you can find anything from market favourite potato swirls to traditional Japanese cuisine or delicious home-made desserts. Felicity Jane will be returning to this year’s food line up with her business Nannie Jane’s, featuring tempura crab and funnel cakes. Felicity believes the Twilight Markets are a fantastic way to end the week. “The Twilight Markets in Caloundra are the perfect place for locals and tourists alike to unwind after a busy week,” she said. “We love coming down here because everyone is always in such high spirits, the atmosphere is incredible and the sunsets are just gorgeous.”

Olivia Sainsbury is the Executive Officer at the Caloundra Chamber of Commerce and is also responsible for the Caloundra Street Fair and annual Hot 91 Ignite Chilli Festival. Olivia thinks there is something really special about the Twilight Markets. “We believe that the Twilight Markets are really symbolic of Caloundra’s authentic charm that leaves you wanting more,” Olivia said.
