Watermark Hotel & Spa Gold Coast has been recognised as one of TripAdvisor‘s Top 10 Best Value Hotels in Australia this spring, based on traveller reviews and price comparisons of 200 booking sites for the lowest seasonal hotel rates.

To qualify for this inaugural TripAdvisor list, a property must have at least three-and-a-half stars and four bubbles on TripAdvisor, and offer seasonal nightly average rates that are at least 20 percent below the city average.

Trip Advisor rated Watermark Hotel & Spa at number three, with pricing at 35% less than the average Gold Coast hotel in spring, making it the only Gold Coast hotel to make the list.

Communications Director of TripAdvisor Asia Pacific, Janice Lee Fang, said they highlighted a number of outstanding properties in popular travel destinations.

“Often trendy or fun independent properties with local flavour, these Best Value Hotels are perfect for travellers looking for a cool place to stay and great value for their dollar,” Ms Lee Fang said.

Deputy Area General Manager at Watermark Hotel & Spa Gold Coast Jane Kingston, said she and her team were thrilled at their top ten listing.

“Bars and lounges at Watermark Hotel & Spa Gold Coast have become edgy social spaces,” Ms Kingston said.

“Interior design and décor embraces the destination’s rich heritage, so travellers get a truly ‘Gold Coast’ experience.

“Our location in the heart of Surfers Paradise has always been one of our best attributes, and providing exceptional value for money is clearly a big draw card for Australian and international visitors.”

Most of the 388 rooms at Watermark Hotel & Spa Gold Coast offer panoramic views, with the property a mere stroll to the beach, shopping centres and entertainment.

Watermark Hotel & Spa Gold Coast also offer two onsite restaurants – Clifford’s Grill & Lounge, a recent finalist in the 2017 QHA Awards, and Waves Buffet Restaurant.

The added convenience of the G:Link light rail station right at the door means Watermark Hotel & Spa Gold Coast is the gateway to other key attractions to the north and south of Surfers Paradise.
