Wittner has opened its newest boutique on James Street, celebrating with a launch party on Wednesday 12 December.
The store combines an e-store – with all shoes appearing on the Wittner online store – and an outlet spanning a majority of shoe sizes. The ample-sized boutique hosted influencers and media for its grand opening, offering canapes and bubbly on arrival. Executive Chairman Michael Wittner opened the store, relaying a brief history of the brand and confessing it had taken them years to find the perfect spot for their next boutique in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley.
Wittner has been operating since 1912, starting as a family business dedicated to designing high quality fashion footwear. More than a century later, and the brand still runs the same, believing in the unmistakable power of wearing the right shoes. The shoe boutique has grown from one Melbourne retail store to more than 100 doors across Australia and New Zealand, three generations on. It is a timeless love affair with leather shoes and accessories that allows Wittner to continue to deliver modern and classic styles each season. The combination of a wide range of on-trend styles with a heritage of quality and craftsmanship creates a product that makes Wittner unique in Australian fashion, and internationally.
Wittner is located at 5 James Street, and is open seven days from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Saturday, and 10am to 5pm Sunday.
