Brisbane-raised entrepreneur Courtney Norris wants to reinvent the idea of a co-working space.

The Cove, which will open in Newstead, is a departure from traditional co-working concepts. Striving to offer more to its members, it plans to collaborate with a large number of local businesses to create a collective hub.

Courtney had her first experience with the co-working model while living abroad in Hong Kong where she worked with a creative agency that looked after brands like LMVH Group, Red Bull, and Sands Group Macao.

There, she observed the amazing for digital nomads, solopreneurs and small businesses who thrived in this environment.

“I’m passionate about small business and we at The Cove want to play a part in growing, harboring and connecting members and their teams to the business community and beyond,” she said.

Courtney designed The Cove to be the perfect balance between a premium, professional work space with the convenience and comfort of an at-home office in an inner-city location.

Cove’s vision will incorporate a business concierge available exclusively to Cove members.

The concierge will be able to assist with business travel arrangements, event curation and set up, meeting arrangements, and accounting services.

There will also be a wellness program which will oversee wellness events and workshops, giving different local businesses the tools to curate something really special for members, and meditation classes and life coaches to help their members with their work/life balance.

The Cove is set to open its doors in Newstead in late September, with a limited range of office suites, collaborative desks and dedicated desks available.
