Christmas in Surfers Paradise

Carols on the Beach will be held on Sunday 22 December and will see media personalities Bruce Paige and Ben Hannat host an action-packed evening of musical and dance performances, showcasing classic Christmas carols and songs. Santa will also take to the stage at Carols on the Beach. Mascots and roving elves will mingle with the crows as families sing along to their favourite songs with the help of free choral songbooks. Battery operated candles will be available for purchase with all proceeds going to the Salvation Army fire appeal.
During these days, Santa will be making appearances twice-daily in Cavill Mall, where visitors can bring their own camera and enjoy a photo with the big man free of charge. Santa will also throw open the doors to his beach bungalow in Cavill Mall from 10am-1pm and 4pm-7pm each day (excluding Sunday). This will provide locals and tourists with a priceless opportunity to capture their annual snap with Santa at no cost.
