Kate Barry has created new work for her first solo exhibition of 2020 – Source. In true Barry style, the work emphasises free, spontaneous emotional expression. She uses the mark-making techniques and a color palette which nods to her design background. The works are a refreshing reference to the source of inspiration, and emphasises the unstudied and intuitive application of paint.
