Author Leigh Mason and celebrated lifeguard and firefighter Trent ‘Maxi’ Maxwell of Bondi Rescue fame hosted the inaugural Live Learn Survive High Tea fundraiser at The Courthouse Restaurant at Cleveland, with Maxi addressing the 60 guests via Zoom live from Sydney. Thousands of dollars were raised at the event which will fund the donation of 250 copies of Leigh and Maxi’s first children’s picture book, “Maxi’s Beach Rescue” to regional school libraries through The Backpack Venture and Survivors R Us Book Drive.
