The Jeep Magic Millions Carnival is celebrating Australian racing this week with a range of events held on the Gold Coast, including its flagship Raceday and Myer Fashion on the Field competition on January 9. The 2016 Jeep Magic Millions Raceday is now Australia’s richest, offering $10 million in prizemoney over nine races throughout the day. Held at the picturesque Gold Coast Turf Club, the fast-paced raceday will kick-off at the inaugural Jewel VIP Marquee.

The day will not only feature equestrian talent, but will host the Queensland State Finals for the 2015 Myer Fashion on the Field competition.The Raceday has cemented its reputation on the international racing scene, attracting elite competitors, punters and fashionistas. International racing commentator Francesca Cumani and premier female jockey Tegan Harrison will also be in attendance on the glamorous day.

The Jeep Magic Millions Carnival will feature a myriad of other events throughout the week, including the Barrier Draw and Launch Party on 5 January, the 2YO Calcutta Dinner on 7 January, Magic Millions Sparkling Ladies Luncheon on 6 January, and daily Yearling Sale Inspections until January 12. The inspection days are a free event, offering the public a first-hand look into the world of thoroughbred sales and racing at the Bundall complex. The January Yearling Sale invites both national and international buyers to enjoy the excitement of the Carnival, yet also to partake in the serious business of selecting a champion racehorse.
