Japanese restaurant Motto Motto joined the dining lineup at Westfield Chermside on Thursday, 22 June.

The restaurant was created after the owner, William Liu, noticed a gap in the market for healthy, delicious Japanese cuisine at a reasonable price. As owner of SONO Restaurant as well, he sensed what people were looking for when dining out.

“The vision for Motto Motto drew upon more than ten years at SONO and understanding what customers really want when eating out. Fresh, healthy options were top of the list!”

“This is what our customers keep coming back for and we can’t wait to share this commitment to new customers at Chermside.”

The full menu will star both iconic and contemporary dishes, including traditional Japanese curries, rice and salad bowls, tonkotsu-style ramen options and, for the first time, a Japanese-inspired poké bowl. Side dishes include fries with seaweed salt, gyoza, and chicken karaage.

These dishes have all been designed by SONO’s Executive Chef, with an emphasis on quality ingredients and dynamic flavours.

To celebrate their brand new store, Motto Motto will offer five signature dishes for just $5 over the opening weekend.

This opening special is designed to give customers a taste of the innovative Japanese menu that has drawn an audience to its other two stores in Garden City and Pacific Fair. On the menu is: poké bowls, wagyu beef Japanese rolls, seared salmon and avo bowls, chicken karaage, and pork gyoza.
