Fresh and funky vibes are expected to hit Robina Town Centre soon with the grand opening of Mad Asian Kitchen and Bar on Monday 27 August.

The latest venture from Stanley Lee and the team behind Saiko Teppanyaki, a successful Japanese franchise with two thriving venues in Queensland, the new restaurant is expected to be a new culinary concept with a focus on contemporary Asian cuisine. Certain to prove just as popular as its relatives, Mad Asian’s menu is a mixed bag of deliciousness from China, Japan, Malaysia and Vietnam, offering up an array of Asian-themed dishes, from gyoza and kushiage to rice and noodle favourites, stir-fries, curries, and sizzling specialities.

Signature dishes include the lightly fried Scallop salad served with pineapple, seaweed, edamame and honey yuzu dressing; Grilled Wagyu Beef; and the Mad Grandpa prawn curry with green beans and chilli. For those daring to step on the spicier side, the Hot Asian Food Challenge is sure to pack a flavour punch: a feast of fiery dishes specially selected by the chef. Customers keen for a tipple or two can sip their way through the restaurant’s drinks list that includes a curated collection of signature and classic cocktails, an impressive range of wine and spirits, plus a host of international beers.
