Local foodies will be salivating over the news there are two brand new Asian establishments joining Robina Town Centre’s culinary precinct The Kitchens: Bubble ‘N’ Sweets and Ari Thai Kitchen & Bar.

Bubble ‘N’ Sweets swung open its doors to patrons mid-April, and if its name is not a dead giveaway, bubble tea is its forte. Inspired by Taiwan’s popular tea drinking culture, which also happens to be the birth place of bubble tea, Bubble ‘N’ Sweets is now giving Robina locals the chance to sip on a selection of equally Insta- and drool-worthy tea concoctions.

Bubble ‘N’ Sweets features 12 specialty tea grinders that line the walls of the tenancy, each offering a different flavour to sample and sip. Tea enthusiasts can select their tea variety of choice from the menu, watch on as it is ground before their eyes, then brewed at one of the tea espresso machines. From there, select a base, choose a mixer, from lychee to peach and even honey juice, then pick a favourite topping or mix-in: aloe, coconut jelly, red bean … the list goes on.

Asian foodie fans will also be spoiled for choice with the launch of culinary gem Ari Thai Kitchen & Bar. Ari Thai takes its cues from the Soi Ari food market in Bangkok; an uber-cool neighbourhood market where local street food vendors and street-side restaurants serve up a host of fresh Thai eats, produce and dessert day and night. Open for lunch and dinner daily, Ari Thai Kitchen & Bar’s menu is a mixed bag of deliciousness, offering up a sizeable menu bursting with traditional Thai classics, from Tom Yum and Tom Kha, to Laksa’s, classic curries, and noodle dishes hot from the wok.

Round out the dining experience with one of Ari’s traditional Thai desserts, like the coconut ice cream with jackfruit and palm seeds; mango sticky rice; or taro balls dipped in coconut cream. The special lunch menu is also sure to draw a crowd of hungry customers.
