The Lavazza Italian Film Festival has kicked off it’s 20th anniversary in style. The biggest Italian Film Festival in the world (outside of Italy) rolled out the red carpet last week at Palace Barracks Cinema. It popped the prosecco as guests filled the cinema for the premiere of award winning film ‘The Champion’, set in the glossy world of professional, millionaire footballers in Italy, the film a story of friendship, betrayal, and learning who to trust. The Film Festival runs until 16th October at Palace Barracks and James Street Cinemas.
