The Queensland premiere screening of Cats was held on Tuesday 17 December at Event Cinemas Chermside. Guests walked a blue carpet before the screening. Oscar-winning director Tom Hooper transforms Andrew Lloyd Webber’s record-shattering stage musical into a breakthrough cinematic event in Cats. The film features Lloyd Webber’s iconic music and a world-class cast of dancers under the guidance of Tony-winning choreographer Andy Blankenbuehler. The film reimagines the musical for a new generation. Cats arrives in cinemas on Boxing Day 2019.
