Fish D’Vine is hosting a long lunch on Whitehaven Beach at the end of this month where guests will savour seafood delights whilst peering out at the pristine waters of the coral sea.
The White on Whitehaven long lunch package begins with a transfer to Airlie Beach where guests are taken on a cruise through the Whitsunday Islands to Whitehaven Beach. Once there they are treated to mojitos, Australian wines, beer and champagne as well as canapes, freshly shucked oysters and salmon sashimi, prepared by Fish D’vine’s chefs.
The long lunch experience will be completed with a long decorated table where guests will dine together on the sand, surrounded by the backdrop of the beach. A live Calypso band will serenade guests as they roam around the lunch. The lunch is a buffet, where diners can indulge in fresh seafood, barbecue meats, salads and dessert platters. After lunch all will relax on Whitehaven Beach or go for a swim in the beautiful water before returning to Airlie Beach. The event, on May 29 and 30, allows Australians to escape to paradise without having to travel internationally.
Those who have booked their White on Whitehaven Long lunch tickets can add a tandem skydive entrance to their package where they can arrive James Bond style by plunging from up to 15,000ft above The Whitsundays. After free falling, the tandem skydivers will touch down on Whitehaven Beach just in time for lunch. What an arrival!
Those travelling from Brisbane can also indulge in a three-night package, starting from May 28, flying to Airlie Beach via a private charter flight which will return on May 31. Accommodation will be at the Water’s Edge Resort and include tickets to the White on Whitehaven lunch and other VIP treatment specials.
