Camerata’s Souvenir Season 2018 Opening Concert

Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra Camerata will take to QPAC’s Concert Hall stage for the Season 2018 gala opening concert. Souvenir is a collection of inspired musical moments to treasure. From the tender beginnings of Rodrigo’s Cançoneta to Roger Smalley’s Strung-out – a visual spectacle that literally strings the players out in a single line across the stage. In 2016, Camerata received a nomination for a Helpmann Award for Best Chamber and/or Instrumental Ensemble Concert. Performing without a conductor, Camerata’s players have established a reputation for passionate, exciting performances that engage audiences of all ages, whatever their experience.
