Gold Coaster Roger Braun brought together 100 guests, including AFL legend Spida Everitt, comedian and magician Matt Hollywood, and singer-songwriter Lee Kernaghan, to raise $50,000 for Australian charity, Act for Kids on December 10. For the second year running, Roger Braun, owner of Captain Nemo’s Pool, Spa and Marine Shop, has rallied the community to host a sold-out event at Sanctuary Cove, auctioning off memorabilia, raffling off a $15,000 golf buggy, and filling the air with magic, music and Italian courses, all for the good cause. The money raised from the long lunch will help Act for Kids deliver life-changing therapy to more Aussie children.
