Akira Isogawa has a strong following for his use of natural fabrics and tactile embellishments weaved together with Japanese aesthetic and technique. Since 1993, Akira’s designs have been celebrated in Australia, receiving many awards.
Patient, humble and approachable, Akira is loved Australia wide and has helped fashion students all year round. An inspirational voice in his industry, the one-of-a-kind designer has had exhibitions at the National Gallery of Victoria, Object Gallery and Museum of Contemporary Art.
