Paw-lease mark your calendars because the 8th annual Barktoberfest at Carseldine Markets is just around the corner. On Saturday, 12th October, 6am to 12pm, take your furry friends along for a tail-wagging good time and experience the range of activities, competitions and stalls that will be available at Barktoberfest.
This year’s event is set to be a paw-some experience, featuring the much-anticipated Pawparazzi Competition with five categories to showcase your pup’s best poses. Don’t miss the Strike a Paws Fashion Parade, where pups can strut their stuff in style and brand new Pawesome Performer Competition to show off your pups best tricks. Plus a variety of competitions and giveaways to be announced.
Adding to the fun, the Animal Welfare League Queensland will be hosting a Puppy Hydration Station and offering fun activities to keep your pups happy and hydrated throughout the day. Barktoberfest will also have a variety of market stalls that will feature unique handmade and homemade treats and artisan finds, SEQLD’s top foodies, and farm-direct produce.
Surrounded by dog-themed entertainment and events, be sure to check out some of the themed stalls like Gunners Goodies, Biggies Raw Pantry and Big & Little Dogs as well as dog behaviour and obedience trainers, One With The Dog.
