Bleach* Festival launched its eighth annual festival program at Home of the Arts (HOTA) on Thursday 7 February. The launch featured exclusive preview performances including Water Songs and The Farm’s drive-in thriller, Throttle before its World Premiere performances to Gold Coast audiences during Bleach* Festival this April. Additionally, an extensive program was revealed on the evening, with highlights including an all-female music line-up headed up by Montaigne, and Verdi’s Requiem by Opera Queensland. Special guests at the event included Louise Bezzina (Bleach* Festival Artistic Director), Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate and Assistant Minister for Tourism Meaghan Scanlon.
