Queensland poker gun Alex Lynskey has taken out the trophy at The Star Gold Coast’s Celebrity Poker Tournament this September.
Lynskey played against other special guest players that include former Titans NRL captain and The Star Poker Gold Coast ambassador Scott Prince, DJ Havana Brown, American comedian Arj Barker, boxing champion Jeff Horn, fellow Australian poker champion Joe Hachem, Channel Nine sports presenter Erin Molan, local ironman TJ Hendy and Hit 90.9 FM’s Ben Hannant and Dan Anstey. The event was the curtain-raiser for the first World Poker Tour (WPT) Australia tournament which kicks off at The Star Gold Coast today and runs until October 7. The charity tournament also served as a celebration for the unveiling of The Star Gold Coast’s new dedicated poker space which features 12 permanent poker tables and nine tournament tables all boasting the latest in poker technology.
