The inaugural annual Tara Brown Foundation Charity Golf Day was held at the Arundel Hills Country Club on Sunday 16 June, with close to $6000 raised to assist victims of domestic and family violence. A combination of 72 seasoned golfers and hacks took part in the four person Ambrose tournament. The Tara Brown Foundation was founded to raise funds for already-established domestic and family violence charities that need our help such as Friends With Dignity. The winners on the day were ‘The Swingers’, a team consisting of John Hunt, Paul Basnett, Shane Edwards and Ben Ibbotson with prizes also awarded for closest to pin, longest and straightest drive and more.
