More than 250 foodies converged on Chop Chop Surfers Paradise to enjoy an Asian culinary feast for the official opening of the unique precinct on Friday 8 February. Guests were guided through signature dishes from a curated degustation menu, highlighting the restaurants within the precinct, all of which were all expertly paired with miro-cocktails. The VIP event was filled with sights, smells and the array of oriental dining options from China, Vietnam, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, India, Bali, and more. The lantern-lined laneways were packed with an abundance of Asian entertainers, dragon dancers and fire dancers and incredible spaces including the Japanese Garden and Lantern Room to keep the crowds immersed in the cultural experience.
