Christmas will come early for Brisbane with the world famous Cinnabon chain opening its first Australian store in Toombul on December 14 and its second Australian store at Garden City this January.

Cinnabon is an American baked goods chain famous for its super sweet Makara cinnamon rolls, chocobons and caramel pecanbons, will also complement its Australian expansion with speciality-grade coffee from an award winning local roastery. The Toombul bakery will release three flavours – the Classic Makara Cinnamon Roll, Chocobon and Caramel Pecanbon – in mini and large sizes. There will also be CinnaPacks of 4 and 9 minibons.

The expansion of the Cinnabon brand into Australia has been made with the help of the Bansal Group, which are also the local operators of American burger giant Carl’s Jr.  Director of Bansal Group, Gaurav Bansal, said they were humbled to work with Cinnabon. “We’re humbled to bring one of the world’s most beloved brands and world-famous cinnamon rolls to Australia. We’re confident there was a market for cinnabon in Australia as there’s nothing else quite like it, but we’re amazed by the love for this brand and will do our best to open bakeries around the country as soon as we can.” Mr Bansal said.
