Brisbane’s Wintergarden will be home to international fashion brand COS (Collection of Style), opening its first Queensland flagship store on Friday 16 November, making this its seventh store in Australia.
The new COS flagship will be one of its largest in Australia, spanning across two levels, and opening directly onto Edward Street and into Wintergarden’s ground floor mall. Wintergarden’s parent company ISPT commenced construction work earlier this year to create a flagship retail tenancy at Wintergarden’s Edward Street entrance. The decision to create this space is part of ISPT’s ongoing commitment to bringing new and international retailers to Brisbane.
COS offers reinvented classics and wardrobe essentials for women, men and children. Pieces made to be worn beyond the season, the collections merge lasting quality with timeless design; clean silhouettes, innovative techniques and functional details inspired by art, design and architecture.
ISPT spokesperson Leah Mienert said “ISPT is honoured that COS selected Wintergarden for their flagship store and first Queensland location. The opening of COS in centre further complements the unique flagship retail at Wintergarden, both internally and on Queen Street Mall as well as retailers on Edward Street.”
The announcement that COS will open in a new flagship store in Wintergarden, follows on from the opening of one of the world’s largest Mecca Maxima, new Nespresso flagship, and new retail fit-outs for Cue, RM Williams, Veronika Maine, Seed and Sheike at Wintergarden in the past 12 months.
