CPL (Choice, Passion, Life) hosted its annual Gala at W Brisbane to honour 70 years of hard work, passion and innovation within the disability sector on Saturday 20 October. The event was headlined by international singers The Sisters of Invention, and local artists Jess Irwin and Steve Balbi, emceed by ABC’s Katherine Feeney. More than 200 guests attended, enjoying a three-course dining experience with funds raised through a silent auction of CPL client artwork, a raffle and a pick-a-box lucky dip with 70 prizes up for grabs. Total funds raised were $12,263 for the profit-for-purpose organisation to provide vital services to thousands of people with disabilities and their families in Queensland.
