Gold Coast developer Cru Collective, fresh from the completion of its Palm Beach project Siarn, has lodged a development application for a collection of full floor apartments set to rise on the coveted Kirra beachfront.

It has been a busy period for the prolific developer, which officially unveiled its completed $40 million Siarn project in June, marking the first finished beachfront residences in the new wave of luxury apartments sweeping the Gold Coast.

Cru Collective’s latest endeavour will see it transform an elite parcel of Kirra Beach into a boutique collection of 11 full-floor beachfront units. “Space and opulence are at the forefront of the design which has been tailored towards an ultra-sophisticated standard of living fronting one of the Gold Coast’s most famous beaches,” said Cru Collective Managing Director Chris Bolger. “Our brand has become synonymous with exclusivity, with a commitment to producing premium quality homes that substitute the conventional high density apartment trope for a boutique approach to unit living.”

“We have worked extremely hard to ensure our product meets the expectation of the sophisticated buyer, reducing the volume of apartments and raising ceiling heights to deliver spacious living typically reserved for standalone houses.”

The floorplans are abundant in space, with secure lift access leading to each residence’s private foyer and 30 meters of north facing beach frontage with wrap around windows. “We were extremely excited about the acquisition of this Kirra site given how scorching the southern Gold Coast market is at the moment,” said Bolger. “It’s one of the most sought-after locations for supremely luxury, private residences on the coast right now and we have no doubt our newest product will only amplify Kirra’s appeal.

“Since we acquired the site in April we have received an astounding amount of interest in the product which spurred us to lodge the DA for what will be a striking addition to the Kirra beachfront.” The building will dedicate a floor to premium lifestyle amenities including an oceanfront pool, fitness centre, infrared sauna and cold plunge pool. From the exterior, the building will showcase the typical design opulence Cru Collective has become recognised for with a sub-tropical coastal design. Construction set to begin in early 2022 for a mid-2023 completion.
